Autobus direct Puebla Taxco
There are buses 2 a day from Puebla to Taxco that go thru Cuernavaca and use the Hwy to Acapulco. The Hwy out of Puebla is the one to Atlixco and then Cuatla. You can find the route in the 2005 Guia Roja. It's a new hwy. The bus company is Estrella Blanca.
Also, there are buses to Cuernavaca (Oro) and from Cuernavaca to Taxco there are 2 companies a 2nd class every hour or so and a first class company (can't remember either name) to Taxco. If you are in Puebla just go to CAPU the main bus terminal anyone there can help you. One thing the buses to Taxco from Puebla are in the am and there is only one return at 4 in the afternoon. The bus company says its a 5 hour trip, we made it in a rental car in under 3. The main problem is the roads aren't marked very well.
